FLAGSHIP EVENTS AND PROJECTS

Montpellier Métropole is implementing a strategic action plan to support the development of the local CCI industry, focusing notably on four key points:

• Structuring: establishing an industry observatory, funding professional associations, and organizing  major events, including CCI Club, Push Start, APIFA, Coodio, and more.

• Offering support: helping companies meet their needs through programs such as CCI/Montpellier Game Lab incubator experimentation with Montpellier BIC, the “Bureau d’Accueil des Tournages” (film location office), and the CCI Creation Fund.

• Welcoming: providing a comprehensive offering to support the growth of local players and encourage newcomers to set up operations in the area through the Cité Créative and private-sector projects.

• Promoting: organizing events such as ICONIC, “Rencontres du Cinéma d’Animation” animated film convention, and the Cinemed Mediterranean Film Festival, as well as providing export support and international business prospecting services.

Based in one of France’s most dynamic regions for the video game industry, this incubator, jointly run by Push Start and Montpellier BIC, has been supporting video game studio creation and development since 2021.

Each group of participants benefits from a dedicated program designed to help them boost their development, strengthen their business network, and establish a stable long-term presence in the greater Montpellier area. Find out more
