Eurobiomed competitiveness cluster

Eurobiomed unites an ecosystem of over 400 players in the south of France, including manufacturers, major groups, SMEs and startups, along with research laboratories and universities across the Occitanie and Sud-PACA regions. Eurobiomed provides resources and dedicated solutions to help members innovate, fund their activity, and grow.

Montpellier CHU

The Montpellier University Hospital Center (CHU) is a major establishment with an outstanding national and international reputation, comprising five main facilities and employing over 10,000 people. With its strong commitment to research, the CHU has also established an “innovation extractor” to detect and support innovative ideas originated by its staff members, whoever they may be, from doctors and pharmacists to healthcare managers, orderlies, and secretaries.

Montpellier Cancer Institute (ICM)

Founded in 1923 and a member of Unicancer, ICM – Val d’Aurelle is one of the leading cancer centers in France. The institute plays a key role both in cancer research and in improving treatment for patients through its multidisciplinary approach. ICM - Val d’Aurelle is a pivotal link in the Montpellier Cancer SIRIC (Integrated Cancer Research Site), the only one of its kind in the south of France. Its certification was renewed for the third time in a row in 2023.
