PROFESSIONAL EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR

In addition to the various meetings, seminars, and conferences organized by players in the food, agriculture, and agronomy sector, Montpellier Métropole also organizes a number of events to showcase the vitality and wealth of its ecosystem, and provide visibility for the many projects that emerge here. This includes two flagship events.

Territorial Meetings on Agroecological Transition and Sustainable Food

Co-organized by Montpellier Métropole and the UNESCO World Food Chair, the Territorial Meetings on Agroecological Transition and Sustainable Food were launched in Montpellier in 2019. These meetings and conferences highlight territorial initiatives and strategies that support more responsible agriculture and food practices. Taking place every two years at a different location, the event returns to its hometown in 2024.

Eating what we sow - Festival of the 4 Seasons

Based on four annual gatherings held in spring, summer, fall, and winter, the 4 Seasons of Agroecology and Sustainable Food event comprised 200 individual events taking place around the metropolitan area.
